Street Art in the Pelourinho, Salvador de Bahia, Brazil
I am no “Aficionado” of Street Art… I actually very seldom specifically look for it and spend even less time photographying it. Maybe did I have a negative image of it?
But I must admit that Street Art in Brazil, especially in Salvador de Bahia and in Rio de Janeiro, caught my attention! What fascinated me most was that those paintings actually enhanced the areas where I found them. They gave life to areas that would else be far less interesting!
I will not try to explain what I discovered… I am merely a layman. I will only let the pictures speak for this form of Art I encountered during this trip in Brazil… Enjoy!

Hi, are you able to tell me who the artist is of the 6th image, the yellow angel like one? I know his first name is Mark …….
Hi Chrystal,
No, I do not know his name… I am no specialist of Street Art, even though I enjoy it! I even didn’t know his name was Mark 😉
Cheers, Gilles
